Dr Stephen Hanna MA (Cantab 1st Class), MB (Distinction) BChir, DFSRH, MRCGP is an NHS GP Partner based in North Yorkshire. He qualified as a doctor from the University of Cambridge in 2000 and has been practising as a GP since 2008. He trains medical students and is an examiner for Medical Final Examinations at the Hull York Medical School. He holds the Bond Salon / CUBS training certificate (Civil Law). His other roles include acting as a Trustee for Healthwatch North Yorkshire and he sits on the NICE MASLD and Suspected Cancer update committees.

The Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Civil Expert Witness Certificate verifies that the recipient has received training in all the key areas of expert witness work and has been assessed and has demonstrated that they possess the core and requisite competencies to work compliantly and effectively as an expert witness in the civil law justice system. Having achieved the CUBS Certificate, an expert is able to:
- Produce Part 35 compliant expert witness reports that are clearly expressed and insulated against cross-examination
- Give effective oral evidence and can withstand rigorous cross-examination
- Comply with their duties and responsibilities as an expert witness
- Comply with the law and procedure that applies to their work as an expert witness in civil proceedings
